Eco Sewer Treatment Solutions

Where a property cannot connect conveniently to a municipal sewer, wastewater has to be treated on site. Doing that responsibly protects groundwater, surface water and the people using the property. Eco sewer treatment focuses on systems that treat wastewater to an appropriate standard with a realistic view of their ongoing maintenance needs.

Where on-site treatment applies

  • Residential properties outside serviced areas
  • Property developments where sewer capacity is limited
  • Rural properties, smallholdings and farms
  • Commercial properties with variable occupancy loads
  • Any property without a convenient municipal sewer connection

Why responsible wastewater management matters

Poorly managed wastewater contaminates groundwater and surface water, creates health risks and can render a borehole unusable. On-site treatment is a long-term commitment to a piece of infrastructure — it needs to be sized correctly, installed correctly and serviced on schedule.

Choosing an appropriate system

System selection depends on the daily wastewater load, occupancy patterns, soil and site conditions, available space, discharge or reuse intentions and applicable local requirements. We work through those factors with you rather than proposing a single product for every situation.

A realistic view of maintenance

We do not describe any treatment system as maintenance-free or as fully environmentally impact-free. Treatment systems contain moving parts, biological processes and consumables. They require servicing, monitoring and occasional component replacement to keep performing as intended.

How it works

The eco sewer treatment process

A structured sequence so that what gets installed matches what the property actually needs.

  1. 01

    Site & load assessment

We establish the wastewater load and review the site conditions.

  2. 02

    System selection

Suitable treatment options are compared against space, load, budget and requirements.

  3. 03

    Installation

The selected system is installed and commissioned with the correct setup.

  4. 04

    Servicing

A maintenance schedule keeps the biological and mechanical process stable.

Before you commit

What to consider

Points worth thinking through — whether you appoint us or someone else.

  • Actual daily wastewater volume and peak loads
  • Occupancy patterns — constant, seasonal or intermittent
  • Site conditions, soil type, slope and groundwater depth
  • Distance from boreholes, water sources and property boundaries
  • What happens to treated effluent — discharge, irrigation reuse or storage
  • Applicable municipal and environmental requirements for your property
  • Realistic servicing intervals and running costs, including electricity

Assess first

We look at the property and the requirement before recommending equipment.

Clear scope

You are told what is included, what is not, and what depends on site findings.

No overselling

Where a smaller solution will do the job, that is what we will propose.

Ongoing support

Maintenance can be arranged so the system keeps performing after handover.
