Irrigation Solutions

Irrigation is usually the single largest water use on a property. Designing it well is therefore a water-efficiency exercise before it is an equipment exercise: apply the right amount of water, to the right plants, at the right time, with as little waste as possible.

What we cover

  • Garden irrigation for residential properties
  • Automated irrigation with scheduling and zoning
  • Commercial irrigation for estates, complexes and business parks
  • Agricultural irrigation for smallholdings and farms
  • Irrigation system design based on plant type, soil and layout
  • Water-efficient irrigation strategies
  • Sprinklers matched to coverage requirements
  • Drip irrigation for beds, hedges and crops
  • Irrigation controllers, sensors and zone valves
  • Maintenance, repairs and seasonal adjustment

Efficiency first

An oversized system that runs at the wrong time of day wastes water regardless of how good the components are. We look at zoning, run times, nozzle selection, pressure and scheduling — then specify hardware. Where a borehole or rainwater source is available, irrigation is often the best place to use it.

Maintaining an existing system

Many properties already have irrigation that has drifted out of adjustment: blocked nozzles, broken heads, zones watering paving, controllers still on a summer schedule in winter. A service visit frequently recovers a meaningful amount of water without new equipment.

How it works

The irrigation process

A structured sequence so that what gets installed matches what the property actually needs.

  1. 01

    Site assessment

We review the landscape, soil, pressure, flow and existing irrigation.

  2. 02

    Design

Zones, hardware and scheduling are designed around actual plant demand.

  3. 03

    Installation

The system is installed, pressure-tested and programmed.

  4. 04

    Optimise & maintain

Schedules are adjusted seasonally and components serviced as needed.

Before you commit

What to consider

Points worth thinking through — whether you appoint us or someone else.

  • Plant types, soil and how much water each zone genuinely needs
  • Available pressure and flow from the source
  • Watering times — early morning generally loses less to evaporation
  • Whether the source is municipal, borehole, rainwater or a combination
  • Any local water restrictions that apply
  • Sensors — rain and soil-moisture sensors prevent unnecessary cycles
  • Access to valves and controllers for future maintenance

Assess first

We look at the property and the requirement before recommending equipment.

Clear scope

You are told what is included, what is not, and what depends on site findings.

No overselling

Where a smaller solution will do the job, that is what we will propose.

Ongoing support

Maintenance can be arranged so the system keeps performing after handover.
